A cyclonic storm passed over this district on Saturday night.

At last night’s Borough Council meeting the poundkeeper reported that during the month 12 head of stock was impounded and driving fees to the amount of 10/- was collected.

Those present at last night’s Borough Council meeting were the Mayor (Mr. M. E. Perreau), and iCrs. R. Thompson, John Ross, R. Rang'iheuea, S. E. Cowley, F. Lucinsky, C. Rand, E. Parkin, C. Spring and the Town Clerk (Mr. Wlm. Trueman). Ah apology for absence was received from Cr,‘ M. J-I. Walker. \ J .
