ALL BLACKS WIN FINAL MATCH. The All Blacks played a special and final match at Capetown yesterday when they met and defeated a team from the Capetown and Stellenboser Universities, under New Zealand rules, by 14 points to 9. J. T. Burrows, of the N.Z. team refereed. NEW ZEALAND DEFEAT N.S. WALES. At Athletic Park, Wellington yesterday in ideal weather, before an attendance of 14,000, including His Excellency the Governor-General and Prime Minister, New Zealand defeated the New South Wales visiting team in the first Test match by 15 points to 12. Although the visitors lost the match, honours were with them as they scored three tries and a penalty goal to New Zealand’s one try and four penalty goals. HAWKE’S BAY DEFEAT MANAWHENUA. At Palmerston North yesterday, Hawke’s Bay defeated Manawhenua by 17 points 'to 9. The game was far below the exhibition of two years ago when a drawn game (14 all) resulted. At Invercargill yesterday, Southland defeated Otago by 15 points to 11. The second Test match, New Zealand v. New South Wales will bo played at Dunedin on Saturday.
