CHURCH SOCIAL.
The third of the winter series of socials, under the auspices of the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Guild, was held in the schoolroom last night and a most enjoyable 'time was spent. The hostesses were: Mesdames- Alexander, McEwen, Curry, Stevenson and Satherly. Games, competitions and community singing took the place of the usual programme and were thoroughly enjoyed. Mesdames Thomson, Boss and Warwick were the competition winners. A tasty supper was provided and a hearty vote of thanks accorded the hostesses.
