FIRE BRIGADE COMPETITIONS.
The competition for the McMurray helmet trophies last week were won as follows: —
Deputy Superintendent H. Reid, .1, Secretary A. Walls 2, Fireman J. Newton 3, Messenger Stevenson 4. The competition was in the form of a one-man dry event. 50 yards from hydrant and 2—50 yards from union.
