(To the Editor). Sir, —As the executive of the . Flaxmills’ Employees Union are asking that the millers produce their books to shoAv whether hemp can be produced at a profit under the award rates, and I hope the bluff will be called, Avliat about the executive of the union also producing a balance-sheet to the union members, just to see how the union funds stand? If there is a surplus in hand a pro rata distribution among those Avho are Out of wor& Avould be very acceptable at the present time. Yours etc., ONE OF THE MUGS.
