ENJOYABLE DANCE.

A “long night” dance, under the auspices of Mrs. Goodman’s dancing class, was held in the Masonic Hall on Tuesday night. There was a good attendance. Mr. M. E. Perreau officiated as M.C. Balloons, confetti, carnival streamers, and paper hats all added to the enjoyment of the evening. The “Monte Carlo” waltz provided much amusement, and the last couple up were presented with a prize. The music was supplied by the Alhambra Orchestra, and a tasty supper was served. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought a very enjoyable function to a close. Another dance . will be held next month when it is hoped that as pleasant an evening will be spent as there w r as on this occasion. *
