N.Z. ALLIANCE.
FOXTON BRANCH. The annual meeting of the Foxton branch was held on Thursday evening, when Mr. Kingston, the area organiser, attended. The Rev. J. H. Edmondson was elected president and the following were elected vice-presidents: Rev. W, H. Nicholas, Mr. W. Bullard and Ensign Rawcliffe. Mr. Murray was re-elected lion, secretary and treasurer. Mr. Kingston spoke at some length on the work and aims of the Alliance. He gave some interesting facts and figures.
Rev. W. 11. Nicholas and Mr. Murray were elected represenlaives on the area council and Rev, J. H. Edmondson and Mr. Stone as substitutes.
