The Power Boards’ conference at Wellington yesterday carried a remit urging the Governemnt to fix a uniform rate to be charged to Boards irrespective of quantity of power and also to issue a definite pronouncement that all the profits of the Government from electrical undertakings will be used, firstly, in placing all such undertakings on a sound financial basis, and, secondly, in the reduction of charges for power to the distribution authorities. >
