PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stevenson, of Foxton, are spending a holiday in the Canterbury district. Miss A. Hignett, of Stratford, has been on a visit to her sister, Mrs. M. B. Bergin. The friends of little Eileen Francis will be pleased to learn that she is making excellent progress towards recovery in the Palmerston. North Hospital.
