PACIFIC FLIGHT
CLAIM AGAINST SMITH AND ULM. Sydney, July 20. ' Litigation arising out of the Pacific flight has been begun in the Equity Court by Keith Anderson, who claims a share in the profits of the flight from Kingsford Smith and Ulm, and alleges that he had been a partner in the venture since July, 1927, when preparations were begun. The plaintiff declares that he went to America with Smith and Ulm, and that he.advanced sums of money to help the venture, and after the purchase of the aeroplane he, with the defendants’ consent, returned to Australia. Anderson swears that he has advanced more than 2000 dollars to date. The defendants deny that there was such a partnership, and contend that the Southern Cross, their monoplane, was a gift by Mr. Hancock, an American. Mr. Justice Owen granted a temporary injunction restraining defendants from dealing with the flight funds.
