MR. NELSON’S CASE.

PRIVY COUNCIL DISAIISS PETITION.

London, July 9,

The Lord Chancellor and Lord Justices Dunedin, Sumner, Darling and Atkin, sitting as . the judicial committee of the Privy Council, dismissed the petition by the Hon. O. F. Nelson for special leave to appeal against the decision and order of Sir George Richardson, late Administrator of Samoa, ordering his deportation. Air Stafford Cripps, K.C., who appeared for the'petitioner, denied that Nelson had been concerned with the Alau organisation propaganda, and argued that Nelson’s exile was contrary to all established law and natural justice.

The Committee did not call on Mr Jo wilt, K.C., who was appearing for the Crown as respondent.
