SEAMAN’S DEATH.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 8. The death occurred at the hospital to-day of John Veal, aged 45, the fireman who sustained a severe injury to the spine on May 23rd, when lie fell from the deck of Messrs Sanford s trawler, Serfib, on to the concrete floor of the cool store chamber in the hold, a distance of about 15 feot. There are no known relatives.
