SOCIAL AND DANCE

A social and dance held in the Masonic Hall on Tuesday evening under the auspices of St. Mary’s Church, was well attended, and thoroughly enjoyed. Messrs Perreau and R. Bryant officiated as M’s.C., and the former extended, in a brief speech, a welcome to those present. Much appreciated - vocal items were contributed by Miss Noeline Pritchard, and violin solos by Messrs Corn and Rikihana. Dance music was supplied by Misses Delany, Roore, Mrs. Bowden and Mr J. Newton’s orchestra. Another of the series will be held at an early date. The proceeds are -in aid of the school building fund.
