WOMEN SHOPLIFTER
SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT. July 4. A young married woman, Margaret Kirkwood Houghton, aged 24, admitted eighteen charges of thetX and two of shoplifting when she appeared in the Magistrate’s Court. The police information disclosed that fact that since the beginning of the year the woman had followed a. career of shoplifting.
The Magistrate, Mr. Levvy, declined to grant the privileges of probation and sentenced accused to three months’ imprisonment.
