PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

A meeting of managers of the local Presbyterian Church u r as held last night, presided over by the Rev. W. 11. Nicholas. It v T as decided to hold the annual congregational meeting on Monday, 30th inst. at 7.30 p.m., when the annual report and balance-sheet will be submitted, to be followed by a social. The moderator of the charge. Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A., of St. Andrew’s, Palmerston North, will preside. It was recommended that Mr. Couch be appointed choir master, and that an effort be made to enlist the co-operation of members to make the service of praise more acceptable. The minister said that there was a growing interest on the part of the young people in connection with church life and he was organising a Bible class in this connection. Business of a routine nature was transacted.
