Mr. W. M. Adams, of Wanganui has decided to contest the North Ward seat for membership in the Wanganui Education Board. Air. Adams, who is at present a member of the Board, is a retired schoolmaster and a man of keen intellect and broad ideas, who during his term of office on the Board, lias been a most practical member. He is one whose whole ambition is wrapped up in the welfare of the primary school pupils and their teachers in order that the very best possible conditions may maintain towards the goal of efficiency. Mr. Adams was for some years headmaster of the local school.
