JOCKEYS’ APPEALS FAIL.

Auckland, June 29. At. a meeting of the Auckland District Committee to-day the appeals lodged by the jockeys, W. A. Ronnie, C. N. Cannon t, -J. IT. jMcKno, and A. J. Gilmer, against their disrjuali-fication by the Rotorua Racing Club were dismissed, and the penalty in each case was increased to two years.
