HOROWHENUA POWER BOARD
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Horowhenua Power Board was held in Levin last Tuesday. ENGINEER’S REPORT.
The engineer (Mr. J. A. Smith) reported as follows: Installations. —During the period l(i applications from new 7 consumers, and 47 applications for extensions to existing installations have been received, comprising 5 ranges, 7 waterheaters, 2 industrial and one milking motor. Fourteen new 7 consumers and 42 extensions have been connected, including 4 ranges, 4 waterheaters, 9 small industrial motors, and 33 heating points. Six community lights have been installed and put into service. Sixty-nine single phase and 2 polyphase meters have been tested, and 23 single phase and 3 polyphase meters have been repaired and re-tested. Tw 7 o ranges have been dried out.
