ELECTORAL ROLLS
The work of compiling the general rills is now proceeding'. The electoral law provides that in the year of a general election the general roll shall be closed at a date to be fixed by the Governor-General-in-Council, and after that date no name shall be added to the general roll of any district until after the general election. Applications for registration received after the closing date form the basis of a supplementary roll.
