PRESBYTERIAN CHILDREN’S SOCIAL.

A very happy and joyful evening was spent by the scholars of the Foxton Presbyterian Sunday school on Tuesday evening, when they gathered for a tea and social evening,. Games Avere indulged in until tea time, Avhcn the children enjoyed a very line and pleasing tea. The infant classes then took the floor and had a number of musical games dear to the heart of the little child. An impromptu concert then took place, and some very fine items were rendered by the children. At the close of the programme many of the parents ha\ T ing arrived they took charge of the little ones, and the bigger boys and girls then had an hour of games and competitions, which closed a most enjoyable evening for the children.
