DOMINION DELEGATE TO PANPACIFIC CONFERENCE.
VISITS FOXTON,
Mrs. 11. L. Smith, President of the Tapanui (Christchurch) Plunket Society, and one of the original members of the (Plunket Society since its inauguration in 1906, is on a brief visit to her niece, Mrs. E. R. Booth, of Foxton. Mrs. Smith has been appointed New Zealand delegate to the Pan-Pacific conference to be held at Honolulu early in August. Yesterday afternoon, Mesdames F. Robinson (president), Trueman, Christie and Walton, of the local Plunket Society met Mrs. Smith and sjmnt an interesting time with her.
It ‘is probable that Mrs. Smith will pay a return visit to Foxton on her return visit from Honolulu. She left Foxton this afternoon for Auckland.
