A GENEROUS OFFER
LIGHT PLANE TO AID CIVIL AVIATION.

Mr. Ingle, manager in New Zealand for C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd., oil manufacturers, London, has received advice from the firm’s Sydney office to the effect that Sir Charles Wakefield has cabled: — “Please offer I.he New Zealand Government, in my name, a light plane to aid in the development ot civil aviation within the Dominion.” Mr. Wakefield made a similar gift recently to the Commonwealth Government, on the occasion of Hinkler’s arrival there. The development. of civil aviation has always interested him.
