BUCKLEY STILL AT LIBERTY.

■ ♦ Auckland, June 5. John Buckley, 27 years of age, who, with Frank Bailer, made such a sensational escape from Mount Eden Gaol on May 25, is still being sought by the police. The police now firmly believe that the Packard motor-car belonging to Mr. A. P. Robinson, of Karaka, which was stolen from Remuera on Saturday night, was taken by Buckley, who is an expert driver.

It is also suspected that Buckley took the ear in order to make a dash from Auckland. Every police station in. the North Island has been advised of the disappearance of this ear, and a close watch is being- kept on all roads. However, like Buckley, the car has completely disappeared.
