GOLF
There was a good attendance of members on the Herrington Golf Links on Monday.- The greens were in excellent condition and the weather perfect, the two combining to make play most enjoyable. A united foursome was indulged in during the morning, which resulted in a win for Mrs. A. P. Easton and Mr. M. B. Bcrgin. Play was as follows: Mrs. Easton and Bergin (53) beat Mrs. Smith and Rev. Walton (72); Miss B. Robinson and E. Mason (58) beat Miss Neylon and A. P. Easton (03); Mrs. Stanley and ,J. L. Christie (00) beat Mrs. Tremewan and R. Foggiu (01); Newton and Mrs. Newton (61) beat Miss Goodwin and W. Ross (08); Mrs. Walton and D.. Gilbert (01) beat Miss Bowc and M. E. Pcrrcau (73). During the afternoon a “one club” competition was arranged and resulted in a win for Miss B. Robinson and Air. D. Gilbert. Play was as follows: — Miss B. Robinson and D. Gilbert (55) beat Mrs. A. P. Easton and Newton (65); Miss Goodwin and A. P. Easton (65) beat Mrs. Hay and W. Jewell (81); Mrs. M. B. Bergin and J. L. Christie (65) Jieat Miss Neylon and Rev. Father Mcgin (63) beat Mrs. Newton and Mason (66); Mrs. Smith and W. Ross (60) beat Mrs. Stanley and Perreau (61).
