IN DIVORCE.
DECREE NISI GRANTED,
Palmerston North, June 1
Ivor Valor Allan Dobbie, of Ohakune, petitioned for a dissolution of his marriage with Ida Mary Dobbie, of Palmerston North, before Mr. Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court yesterday, the ground for the petition being alleged adultery with Wilfred Albert Petersen, of Wellington.
His Honour granted a decree nisi to be made absolute after the expiration of three calender months, with costs on the lowest scale against correspondent. Petitioner was given interim custody of the child, and respondent £lO 10s costs. RESTITUTION OF CONJUGAL RIGHTS.
A petition was presented by Alexander Milne, farmer, of Woodville, for restitution of conjugal rights with his wife, Ellen Milne, also of Woodville, who counter petitioned for a judicial separation from her husband on grounds of alleged cruelty, threatening language and physical violence. His Honour heard lengthy evident: before the Court adjourned until tomorrow morning.
A petition by Clifford Ackroyd, farmer, of Dannevirke, for the restitution of conjugal rights by Mary Holroyd Ackroyd, of Carterlon, was heard in the Palmerston North Supreme Court this morning by Mr. Justice Ostler. After hearing evidence by petitioner which was confirmed by letters, His Honour made an order for restitution within 14 days of service.
