It is with sincere regret that we chronicle the death of Vida Frances (“Fluffy”), the six-year-old daughter of Air. and Airs. D. R. Barron, of Watson Street, Foxton, which took place at an early hour this morning. The little girl contracted rheumatic fever some weeks ago followed by complications and despite all that medical skill and devoted nursing could devise, the disease got the upper hand. The deceased was a bright and affectionate little girl, and was a favourite with all. lhc school flag was flown at half-mast to-day as a token of respect to her memory. In common with the Foxton public we extend our sympathy to the bereaved parents and family. The funeral will take place on Thursday.
