CR. ELIOTT’S CHARGES. Kurt her statements have been made by O. Eliott a~s to the source of his inl'ormation which inspired him to launch a charge of “unnecessary and wasteful expenditure’’ on the part of the Palmerston Hospital Board. He states that his information came from two members of the honorary medical staff. The honorary medical staff state that they neither “approve or disapprove’’ of Cr. Eliott’s statement. The Chairman of the • Board makes a further statement to the effect that as nothing that has appeared before the executive committee of the board either by resolution of staff, or by the statement of any member of the staff who was present at that meeting, which in any way supports Mr. Eliott’s statements which have been published.
