THE BEACH ROAD.

DECLARED MAIN HIGHWAY. The Town Clerk (Mr. W. Trueman), received word this morning that the Beach rpad has been declared a subsidiary Main Highway, including 60 chains of road in the borough. The Chairman of the Manawatu County Council (Mr. Wl E. Barber), also informed us that the Tangimoana Beach road was also included. The Manawatu County Council is to be commended for its efforts in both connections.
