GAS POISONING.

DEATH OF CHINESE. /

Christchurch, May 2. Wing Soos, a Chinese laundryman, was found dead in bed in his place of residence, Manchester Street, to-day. The cause of death had been gas poisoning, the gas having come from the laundry iron. At the inquest this afternoon, Mr E. Mosley, S.M., said .that death was due to suffocation by gas but there was no evidence to show if death was accidental or otherwise. j
