(To the Editor).

Sir. —Would you kindly let me have space in your paper for this letter. To the public of Foxton and district. With regard to the football match, Foxton v. Levin Wlanderers on Levin Domain last Saturday, I would like to thank the Foxton boys on the very sporting manner in which they came over and played. It gave ms all an idea what sportmanship is. We .are all very proud of that team which we know was mainly 3rd grade and junior men, and with the old veteran, Mr. Harry Hutchins (who deserves great praise) gave us a great fight. None of the Wanderers can say it was an easy win, as it was only in the later stages of the game that the scores mounted up. Hoping to see more of Foxton and wishing’ the iClub the best of luck and also hoping that the H.R. Union will give you a “fair go” this year. Thanking you for space. I remain, etc. One of the Levin Wianderers.
