MANAWATU MEETING. The Autumn meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club opened at Awapuni yesterday in fine weather’. There was a yery good attendance. The sum of £23,341 went through the machine, as against £20,259, an increase of £4082. K. Robinson was suspended for a fortnight for crossing Kaiti while riding Miss Pat in the Telegraph Handicap. Results: — Wloodhey Hack Handicap, six furlongs.—Moutoa Wonder 1, Silver Tray 2, Keddar 3. Time 1.15. Karere Hurdles, If miles. —Brigadier Bill 1, Mount Marta 2, Chrissarto 3. Time 3.4 2-5. Prince of Wales Handicap, nine furlongs.—Vertigern . 1, Crown Area 2, Duke Abbey 3. Time 1.54 1-5.
Te Matai Hack Handicap, nine furlongs.—Mendip 1, Flying Shot 2, Braeman 3. Time 1.54 2-5.
'Sires’ Produce Stakes, seven furlongs.—Episode 1, Raasay 2, Concentrate 3. Time 1.28.
Awapuni Gold Cup, 14 miles. — Star Stranger 1, Satrap 2, Mask 3. Time 2.7 2-5.
Telegraph Handicap, six furlongs.—Silvermine 1, Broad Acre 2, Miss Pat (K. Robinson) 3. Time 1.14.
