RACING.
FEILDING RACING CLUB’S MEETING. The dull threatening conditions prevailing early in the morning on Saturday gave way to bright sunshine for the first day of the Feilding Racing Club’s Easter meeting. There was a fair holiday crowd in attendance. The sum of £30,521 was handled by the totalisator staff during the day, as compared with £31,816 for the corresponding day last year —h decrease of £1,295.
The details are as follows: Taonui Hack Handicap, 'seven furlongs.—Calluna 1, Royal Elm 2, Vigilance 3. Time, 1.28 4-5. Mangaone Handicap, six furlongs.—Arrow Lad 1, Vast Acre 2, Benzora 3. Time 1.15. Onepuhi Hack Handicap,, 1 mile and 110 yards.— Hypnotic 1, Kawakina 2,' Sovina 3. Time, 1,48 3-5. sec.
Halcoinbe Highweight Handicap, —Partaga 1, WJhenuaimi 2, Kiljeron 3. Time, 1.27 3-5. SECOND DAY.
The totalisator again showed a substantial decline, £30,738 being handled, as against £34,963 for the second day last year.
