A reminder is given of the Labour Social Club’s euchre tournament to be held in the Town Hall supper-room on Monday evening.
Particulars in connection with a sale of household furniture and personal effects on behalf of Mrs. Admore appear elsewhere in this issue.
In to-day’s issue will be found the Railway Department’s advertisement in re the train arrangements for the Easter holidays. In addition to holiday excursion fares, special cheap fares are available to Foil ding races, and the trains run at very convenient times on both days of the races. After many requests Mr. R. A. Noedl, optician of Palmerston N., has made arrangement to visit Foxton next Tuesday and may be consulted at Messrs C. M. Ross and Co’s, rooms upstairs, from 9.30 to 4.30. Anyone suffering from imperfect sight or hearing cannot afford to miss this opportunity.
