The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce will be held in the Town Hall supperroom this evening at 7.30 o’clock. C. K. Woodroofe advertise a sale of household furniture and effects on behalf of Mrs. Admore, together with a G-roomed house. Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd., advise that, they are holding a Carpet Drive. Free gifts to Easter - brides who purchase carpet squares to.the value of £lO or over. Mr R. A. Noedl, optician, of Palmerston N., advertises that he will be in Foxton next week (Ross’ buildings). The Moutoa Tennis Club will hold a dance in the Moutoa Hall to-mor-row (Friday) night. A good time provided for all. Admission 2s 6d, including bus fare. Bus leaves Post Office at usual time.
