/ FIREMAN’S THROAT CUT.

Wellington, ■ March 25. Following a fracas on the s.s. Pori Hunter on Saturday night, John Connor, a fireman, aged 39, was admitted to the hospital with his throat cut. It is understood that Connor tried to separate some men who were fighting and that in doing so he received a gash on the throat from a razor blade. His condition is not serious.
