LEVIN BEAT PAHIATUA IN CHAMPION PAIRS PINAL.

Yesterday afternoon, at the Terrace End green, the Manawatu champion pairs competition was concluded, when , after a very fine game Levin (Bull and Clements) prevailed over Pahiatua (Walsh and Hewat) 25 —14. The final scores do not indicate the excellent fight that Pahiatua put up against their worthy opponents.

At Palmerston N. on Saturday of this week the Champion of Champions rinks'' competition will commence. Shannon. Club will represent/this section of the Centre, having won the elimination matches conducted on the sudden death principle.
