CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS.

At Levin this afternoon the final elimination game in the Champion of Champions section play will be played between Foxton and Shannon. The winners of this match will contest i;i the games at Palmerston North on the 24tb inst.

The following have been entered for the Manawatu Bowling Centre’s champion of 'champions singles competitions to be played on the Manawatu Club’s green to-day, commencing at 9 a.m.: Duff (Eketahuna), E. Spencer (Shannon), D. Jones (Manawatu), Herdman (Feeding), Morgan (Takaro), Cunninghame (Northern), Mules (Woodville), Johnson (Terraee_ End), J. H. Nash (Palmerston North), and a representative of the Dannevirke Club.

TRIANGULAR SHIELD CONTEST. On Wednesday next, at Shannon, the final round’ of the Triangular Shield contest will be played, when rinks from Foxton and Levin will compete with four representing Shannon Club. The two Foxton rinks will be as follows: —Parkin, Scadden, Heyes, Bryant (s); Walton, Easton, Woods, Matter (s). The aggregate points at the conclusion of the second round were as follows: —Levin (6 games), 160; Sannon (4 games), 81; Foxton (6 games), 91. The average points are:—Levin 26 2-3 p6r game, Shannon 201, Foxton 15 1-6. It will thus be seen that Levin has a great chance of winning the Shield again this season.
