MANAWUTU RABBIT BOARD. THE RATING ACT, 1925. is hereby given that it is the intention of the Mamiwatu Rabbit Board at a meeting to be held at its Office, Foxton, on Thursday, February 23rd, 1928, at 1.30 p.m., under the provisions of “The Rating Act, 1925,” and Section 82 of “The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908” and amendments to make and levy a General Rate of one half penny per acre on all rateable property in the Manawatu Rabbit District, Such rate to be for a period of one year from the Ist day of January, 1928, to the 31st day of December, 1928, and shall become due and payable in one sum at the Board’s Office, Foxton, on the Ist day of April, 1928, and that a discount of 5 per cent, will be allowed off all rates (save on minimums or on Rates of 1/-) paid in full on or before the 2nd day of May, 1928, and further that ten per cent, will be added to all rates outstanding for the current year if not paid on or before the 15th day of October, 1928. FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL SHANNON BRIDGE. . is hereby given that the Fox ton Borough Council will, at the ! next ordinary meeting, to be held on the 12th March, 1928, make the following Special Order: — “That for the purpose of providing the sum of £BSO towards the cost of erecting the Manawatu River Bridge on the Shannon Road, the Fox ton Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £BSO at (i per cent, per annum, for a term of eight and a half years, reducible by £IOO per annum. That as security for the said loan the Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rater of one-eighth of p penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and to be payable op the Ist April in each and every year being a term of 8£ years or anti] the loan is fully paid off.” W.
