BENEFIT CONCERT.

TOWiN HALL—THURSDAY. A benefit concert is being organised by the men of the Artillery camp assisted by local talent, in aid of Jack Shortt, who lost his eyesight as a result of the accidental explosion of a “dud” shell which he found on the sand dunes, some time ago. The practical sympathy of the men will be backed by the local public and it is hoped that a substantial sum will be raised as a result of the tffort.
