OBITUARY.

MRS. ELIZA HART.

The death took place at her residence, Thynne Street, at 7 o’clock this morning, after a lingering illness, of Mrs. Eliza Hart, wife of Mr. T. Hart, aged 48 years. The late Mi’s Hart was the secoul daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip D. Wallis, of Masterton, and was born at -Clarevil'le (Carterton), and has resided in Foxton for the past 15 years. Deceased was of a quiet and kindly disposition, a devoted and affectionate wife and mother. She leaves a husband and family of three girls and two boys, to mourn their loss. Mr. H. Wallis, of Carterton and Mesdames Vautier (Palmerston North), Day (Pahiatua) and Misses Eva and Minnie Wallis (Masterton), are brother and sisters of deceased. One brother, Frank, was killed in action in France during the Great Wlar. The funeral takes place at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
