WOODVILLE ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for all first . day events (including Maiden Stakes) in connection Avitli the Woodville Races to be held on Friday and Saturday, 24th and 25th February, close on Monday, 20th February, 1928, at 9 p.m.

The secretary of the Woodville District Jockey Club advises that OAving to the omission if words in the transmission of b telegram, the horses Vertigern and David Garrick Avere' wrongly entered in the President’s Handicap (first day) and the Maharahara Handicap (second day), instead of the Woodville Cup and Autumn Handicap respectively. The steAvards therefore authorised the correction under Rule 11, Part XVp 43, of the Rules of racing.
