NOTICE is hereby, given that the Foxton Borough Council will, at the next ordinary meeting, to be held on the 12th March, 1928, make the following Special Order: — “That for the purpose of providing the sum of £BSO towards the cost of erecting the Manawatu River Bridge on the Shannon Road, the Foxton Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £BSO at 6 per cent, per annum, for a term of eight and a half years, reducible by £IOO per annum. That as security for the said loan the Foxton Borough Council hereby, makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value qf all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan add to be payable on the Ist April in each and every year being a term of years or until the loan is fully paid off.” W.
