PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the Committee was held in the Plunket office yesterday afternoon. Those, present were Mesdames F. Robinson (President), F. Procter, A. Baker, D. R. Barron, D. Christie, W. Trueman and R. McMurray (hon. sec.) Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames A. Ross, W. H. Walton, M. E. Perreau, C. A. Pearson, C. Edwards and A. Heasman.
The Nurse’s report showed that five visitr. to Foxton had been made in December; visits to homes, 17; adults to office, 102; babies, 91; older children, 52; total 245. New cases, 5. For January: visits to Foxton, 5; to homes, 5; adults to office, 105; babies, 84; older children, 66; total 255. New cases, 4. Mrs. Yeo was elected a member of committee.' Mesdames F. Procter and A. Baker were appointed visitors for the month. * Proceeds of Mr I. Corn’s weighing machine, 17/9; office box 11/2. Mrs. Barron (organiser for No. 3 group), reported arrangements well in hand for the Plunket concert to be held on Thursday evening next at the Town Hall.
