MILITARY CAMPS.

sth BATTERY TO ARRIVE SATURDAY.

On Saturday the sth (D) Battery, Wellington, consisting of 200 Territorials will arrive is Foxton to undergo a week’s training on the racecourse. _ The Battery will be under the charge of Captain J. Kean, and during the week an inspection will be made by Lieutenant Colonel J; Lyons.

The guns used by this battery will be 18 pounder field guns. Lieutenant W. L. Gibson, 0.1. C.; of the canteen arrived in Foxton to-day to prepare for the camp and early this week an advance squad of the permanent staff arrived and have been carrying out preliminery arrangements;
