FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

MONTHLY MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board was held yesterday afternoon at Palmerston North, Mr. J. Linklater, M.P., presiding. Those present were Messrs M. Mortensen, A. J, Kellow, J. Chry.stall, H. Berry, and J. A. Nash, M.P.

Apologies of absence were received from Messrs E. R. B. Holben, and W. E. Barber. It was resolved that a valuation of the Board’s dredge be obtained fyom Mr. John Ross, of Foxton, as the Board was desirous of selling the craft.

In connection with a letter from the Patea Farmers’ Co-operative Freezing Co., Ltd., advising that their steamer “Waverley” was for sale, the secretary was instructed to write asking bhe price of the vessel.
