SERIOUS CHARGE AGAINST A WOMAN.
Oamaru, January 25. Mary Jane Clark, of Dunedin, was charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with unlawfully using an instrument and committing an unlawful act, thereby causing the death of Jessie Elizabeth Smart, Accused reserved her defence and was cormitted for trial to the next session of the Supreme Court at Oamaru. Bail was granted in self £2()0 and two securities of £IOO each.
