“Aussie” lias never been more amusing than in its January issue. The secret is in the fact that the issue is a. “Wjowscr Number.” Thepoor old wowser had a bad time at the hands of the writers and 'artists of Australia and Neav Zealand, and “Aussie” readers draw a record dividend of laughter as a result. However* it is all good healthy, honest fun which, even the wowsers themselves will enjoy. The cover design is a sheer delight and we can sec it being cut out and framed all over the country. Not the least interesting portion of tho issue is an arti.de by “The Reformed Wowser,” pi-oviiig that New Zealand is not, as is often suggested, a wowser riddijn country.
