DROWNED IN WASH-HOUSE TUB.

Hamilton, Last Night. A well-known local resident, Mrs John Hembyrt Hawes, of Central St., Matainata, was found dead in the wash-house of her home yester day. At the inquest} the Coroner, Mr Brown, returned a verdict that deceased met her death by being drowned in a tub of water and that the evidence was not sufficient to show how she got in the water. Deceased is survived by her husband and two children.
