FOUND DROWNED

UNKNOWN BODY OFF PETONE BEAC'H. Wellington, To-day. Soon after daybreak yesterday the Petone police, searching in a (dinghy, found the fully dressed body of a man floating in the sea oft! the Petone beach. Deceased was about 21 years of age, slimly built, 5 feet 8 inches in height, had brown eyes and hair, and a sallow complexion. No papers were found on the body, although a metal-cased watch attached to a chain with a silver medal, a pair of spectacles in a black case, and a mouth-organ were found in the pockets of the light grey suit which the man was wearing. The body has not yet been identified.
