Mr Blight, a student from the Methodist Theological College, of Auckland; will take up reieving Work in the local Methodist circuit for a few weeks.
Mr W. Waters, Town Clerk of JEltham, and who occupied a similar position locally some years "ago, paid a brief visit to Foxton yesterday while en route to Wellington. In conversation with our representative, Mr Waters expressed pleasure and surprise at the indications of municipal progress since he was here last. “Foxton’s main thoroughfare,” said Mr Waters, “is one of, the most attractive of any small,; town in the North Island, and the V buildings are an evidence of civic progress.” Mr Waters desired to be remembered to all old friends,
